First-year Buc Eva Laun-Smith finished second in two events and third in another event at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge to earn Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Laun-Smith registered a time of 9.16 in the 60-meter hurdles to finish second in the event. She currently tops the MWC leaderboard and holds the Beloit record in the event with a time of 9.11 set earlier this season. In the triple jump, Laun-Smith's leap of 38' 0.25" was good for second in the event but places her atop the league standings by nearly seven inches. Her mark is also ranked 12th in NCAA Division III standings. Laun-Smith also took third in the long jump with a measure of 17' 11.5", a mark that bests the MWC by nearly two feet.
