Rockford, Ill. -- In a game that was postponed from earlier in the season, the Bucs traveled back down to Rockford to finish up a game in progress against the Regents.
Beloit would end the season on a high note with a win, beating the Regents 3-1, (25-19)(22-25)(25-23)(25-23).
Two seniors that had a tremendous impact on the court for the Bucs over their four years would also end their careers in Blue and Gold, as Taylor Lewis and Jaylan Dunn played in their last appearances on the volleyball team.
Jaylan Dunn finished her career with a new school record for aces in a match, 715 kills, 248 blocks, and 67 total aces.
Taylor Lewis wrapped her Buccaneer volleyball career with 562 kills, 177 digs, and 121 blocks.
In the match, that actually spanned over two months due to postponing and rescheduling, Paige Wimbrow was all over the court.
Wimbrow would finish with 1 kill, 11 attacks, 34 assists, and 13 digs.
Leading both teams in digs throughout the match was Shelby Strehlow, who, stepping in for the injured Abby Gessell, finished with 15 on the night.
This win wrapped up the 2017 Buccaneer Volleyball season, ending with a record of 9-16 overall, and 3-6 in MWC play.
