Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Swimming & Diving team, under head coach Kevin Schober, had both the Women's and Men's teams recognized as the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Scholar All-American Teams for the 2017 Spring semester.
A record total of 720 teams were honored, from NCAA Division I thru NJCAA schools. The Team Scholar All-American Award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once for the Fall semester and again in the Spring, to recognize teams achieving a 3.0 for the semester coinciding with the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA/CCCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
The Buccaneer Women's team had a 3.36 cumulative GPA. They were one of six Midwest Conference Women's teams honored along with Lawrence (3.63), Knox (3.55), Grinnell (3.54), Ripon (3.45) and Lake Forest (3.40).
The Buccaneer Men had a 3.08 GPA, joining MWC teams Grinnell (3.50), Knox (3.49), Lake Forest (3.26) and Lawrence (3.11).
