Milwaukee, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Lacrosse team had eight student-athletes earn recognition on the 2017 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team. The squad was released by the Conference office this morning.
Conference-wide 88 student-athletes were named to the squad. To be named a member of the MWLC All-Academic Team, recipients must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 for the academic year.
Freshman attacker Olivia Nasatir, senior attacker/midfielder Marci McClenon, freshman attacker/defender Katie LaCost, sophomore attacker Katherine Johnson, senior defender Brenne Gregory, freshman midfielder Nicole Dolcimascolo, senior defender Sydney de Tomaso, and senior goalkeeper Marie Bonine earned recognition for the Bucs. Bonine is a four-time honoree while McClenon was recognized three times. Johnson is a repeat from the 2016 team.
The Buccaneers finished 8-9 overall, 5-6 in MWLC play during the 2017 season.
