Buccaneer Men 26th, Women 29th at NCAA III Midwest Regional

Winneconne, WI -- The Beloit College Cross Country team finished up their 2016 season Saturday at the highly-competitive NCAA Division III Midwest Regional, with the Men's squad running 26th of 33 teams and the Women's 29th of 38 teams.

The meet featured four of the top 11 teams in the most recent USTFCCCA national rankings in the Men's race and three of the top 13 in the Women's.

Daniel Arkes paced the Men with a 79th-place finish while Emma Koenig was 91st to lead the Women.

Also scoring for the Men were Alberto Torres in 102nd, Forrest Lloyd in 180th, Noah Sisson in 185th and Joe Peacock in 194th.

For the Women Ellie Waddle was 99th, Emily Sneed 195th, Shelby Kline 207th and Caroline Murton 216th.

Seniors Sara Brown, Koenig, Miranda Simes, Sneed, Waddle, Carl-Lars Engen, Kyle May, Peacock and Torres all ran their final Cross Country race for the Buccaneers.
