Buccaneers Finish 3rd, 4th at Wisconsin Private Colleges Meet; Arkes, Waddle Run Second Individually

Somers, WI -- The Beloit College Cross Country team competed at the Wisconsin Private College Meet on Saturday, with the Men's squad finishing third and the Women coming in fourth on the Wayne Dannehl National Course.

Viterbo College won the Men's Race while host Carthage College took the Women's.

Dan Arkes was the top Men's finisher for the Bucs, crossing the line as the runner-up.  Alberto Torres was fifth and Charles Sandberg eighth.  Rounding out the scoring was Forrest Lloyd in 22nd and Noah Sisson in 27th.

Ellie Waddle finished second to lead the Women with Emma Koenig fifth and Shelby Kline 18th.  Completing their scoring was Emily Sneed in 35th and Joanna Furlan in 38th.

Beloit has next weekend off before hosting the Midwest Conference Championships at The Beloit Club on Saturday, October 29.
