Women 14th, Men 15th at St. Olaf Invite

Northfield, MN -- The Beloit College Cross Country teams competed at the St. Olaf College Invite Saturday, a meet that featured a number of ranked teams at both the NCAA Division II and III level, with the Women finishing 14th of 23 teams and the Men 15th of 20.

For the Women, Emma Koenig had the top finish of the day for the Bucs, crossing the line in 40th.  Ellie Waddle was close behind in 47th.  Jamie Manchen finished 109th, Melissa Pelkey 117th and Emily Sneed 118th to complete the team's scoring.

On the Men's side, Alberto Torres was 50th to lead the way followed by Dan Arkes in 62nd and Charlie Sandberg in 89th.  Joe Peacock finished 110th and Noah Sisson 11th.

The Buccaneers now turn their attention to their premier home meet, the Olde English Classic, which will be run at Leeson Park Saturday.  The President's Open Run begins the day at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Women's race at 11:00 a.m. and the Men's race at 12:00 noon.
