Sanger Center for the Sciences

Architect: Holabird&Root
Uses: Replacement of Chamberlin Hall as a Science building. Houses the following departments: biochemistry, biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental studies, geology, mathematics, physics and astronomy, and psychology. It is also used for conferences, college lectures, and social gatherings.  Other disciplines utilize the space throughout the school term. In the summer it is used for the Center for Language studies along with other summer programs.

The Sanger Center for the Sciences was awarded platinum-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) status by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009.
