Frederick William Schacht

Class of 1922

40th Reunion Award

Surgeon – Professor

One of seven brothers and sisters who were in attendance at Beloit College almost constantly between 1912 and 1928.  Following your study leading to a Master of Science at the University of Wisconsin you went on to Johns Hopkins for your medical degree and then continued your study at the University of Minnesota in your special field.  You have had a distinguished career in the practice of medicine in the Chicago area, have served as president of the Chicago Urological Society and on the American Board of Urology.  Your life and example in this highly important profession serves as a valuable guide and incentive to the current generation of students who may be planning a medical career.  As you join your classmates in celebrating the fortieth reunion of your graduation from Beloit, your alma mater salutes you and is happy to present you this Distinguished Service Citation.
