For over 30 years, the Department of Economics has departed from the corner of Chapin and College Street at 7:00 a.m. on a cold February morning for Econ Day. Forty junior and senior majors along with their professors journey to Chicago to meet with alumni and to consider life after Beloit.

Advising Practicum is a full-day series of workshops and sessions aimed at helping students plan their Beloit education and beyond. Practicum encourages students to get the most out of their education by reflecting on their educational experiences and interests and developing a self-directed and personally rewarding course of study—all with the guidance and expertise of advisors, professors, our in-house professional resources, peers, and alumni!
