Third Culture Kid Applicants
Beloit College is serious about international education. Currently, half of our student body will study abroad during their time at Beloit. Today, 14% of our students are citizens of over 40 different countries. More recently we have realized the growing number of Third Culture Kid (TCK) students in our student body. TCKs are people who have grown up in cultures outside of their parents’ culture. Having knowledge from and experiences with their parents’ culture/s—in addition to the country/ies they have lived in—creates a third culture. Click here to find out more about our TCKs.
Often times there is confusion in the college admissions process on how to apply as a TCK student. At Beloit we process TCK applications according to citizenship. All TCK applications are processed and reviewed by our International Admissions Counselors.
