Jazz Band is joined by Students in Performance

Beloit College Jazz Band will fill Eaton Chapel will music. Individual students in lessons may also perform.


Beloit College Choirs Perform

Both Beloit College choirs, the Chamber Singers and the Beloit College and Community Choir will delight you with their talented voices, conducted by Kristie Halverson.

This innovative string group performs several music genres.



Zöe Koenig’18 rehearses for a Beloit College dance trip to Newfoundland. After Beloit, Zöe has continued dancing professionally.

Navigating careers in the arts

Led by recent alumni in art, dance, media studies, music, and theatre, students and alumni got together in a Career Accelerator session to discuss strategies for the first few years after graduation, including finding internships, building a professional network, making money in the arts, applying to grad school, and more.  

Students explore music in and out of the classroom. Bits & Pieces, Beloit’s a cappella group, rehearses in the Hendricks Center for the Arts.

At Beloit College, students don’t have to decide between music and other interests, thanks to a flexible curriculum and supportive environment. (Music scholarships help, too.)

Making a living from a love of sports

Nate Johnson’22 ran cross-country and played baseball when he began college. When he transferred to Beloit to begin his junior year, however, he wanted a new way to participate in sports. At Beloit, he was able to develop the skills he needed to become a sports broadcaster.

Falling in love with research

First in their family to graduate from elementary school, Ericka Corral’22 will soon begin Ph.D. studies in computer science. Their goal? Find solutions to real-world problems.
