Statement of Accreditation
Beloit College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Once every 10 years, a team assembled by the Commission visits our campus, speaks to a wide variety of students, faculty, and staff, reads an extensive self-evaluation that we prepare, and then writes an accreditation report.
Our most recent accreditation report, based on a November 2016 visit, reaffirmed Beloit's accreditation for another ten years and concluded that Beloit College is a "mission-driven institution, with the mission supported widely and intricately tied to its operations."
In addition to the college’s NCA accreditation, our acclaimed Logan Museum of Anthropology is accredited by the American Association of Museums, an endorsement granted to only 5 percent of the nation’s museums.
