Statement of Accreditation
Beloit College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Once every ten years a team assembled by the Commission visits our campus, speaks to a wide variety of students, faculty, and staff, reads an extensive self-evaluation that we prepare, and then writes an accreditation report. Our most recent accreditation report, based on a September 2006 visit, granted accreditation for the next 10 years and concluded that Beloit College is a vibrant college which has had a long history as an innovative and highly successful liberal arts college. In addition to the college's NCA accreditation, our acclaimed Logan Museum of Anthropology is accredited by the American Association of Museums, an endorsement granted to only 5% of the nation's museums.
