[GLAM 243] Medieval Latin Literature and Palaeography


A survey of the extraordinary diversity of Medieval Latin literature, both poetry and prose, with special emphasis on the 11th-13th centuries. This course also serves as an introduction to Latin palaeography: i.e., how to read medieval and early-Renaissance manuscripts written in Latin.
