Hi! My name is Ela, and I’m a freshmen from Providence, Rhode Island. I am planning to major in International Relations and pursue a career in foreign service.

In addition to working with admissions, I am a member of the Afro-Caribbean society and Beloit’s Rotary club. I enjoy going to the farmer’s market downtown and spending time in the Morse library with friends. I love the weekends because everyone is out being together and it really feels like a community.

I chose Beloit not just for the awesome campus, but for the people. When I visited I was treated with such care and generosity; I couldn’t see myself anywhere else.
