Professor Morello provides one-on-one mentoring to students who wish to start a business during their time at the college, and through CELEB, students have access to an office, financial resources, and other amenities. In addition to his leadership at CELEB and mentorship role, he teaches two courses, Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Practicum.
Professor Morello also serves as co-advisor (with Professor Laura Grube) of Belmark Associates, a student-run market research company and co-advisor of Maker Lab, a student-led prototyping lab.
Previously, Professor Morello was a principal of Beloit Beverage Company, a wholesale beer distribution and logistics company. More recently, he was a founding board member and principal of City Brewery, the nation’s largest dedicated contract manufacturing and brewing company. He has pursued his passion for entrepreneurship as an advisor to gener8tor, a nationally recognized business accelerator, and as an angel investor.
Morello earned his MBA from Chicago Booth with concentrations in finance and strategy.
