Purpose

Rocky Horror Picture Show is the world’s longest continuously showing movie, playing in theaters across the world with “shadow casts” of actors pantomiming the action and dialogue in front of the screen. Advertised as a “one night only” showing, it takes a group of dedicated individuals put on a showing of this cult classic.

The subsequent showing is open to the entire Beloit College community. There is a ritual of call and response between the audience and characters that makes this annual tradition so special to many Beloiters.

Membership Requirements

Any student is allowed to audition to be part of the show. Auditions happen early in the fall semester with the performance being around Halloween.
