Spots still open for April 6 Career Trek trip
A full day for students to explore careers in sports, fitness and recreation, sustainability, health and healing, and business and entrepreneurship.
Join the second Career Channels Career Trek on Thursday, April 6 and learn about potential careers and network with alumni.
Students will travel with faculty and staff to the Madison area to learn about businesses, jobs, and careers associated with Beloit College’s Career Channels in sports, fitness and recreation, sustainability, health and healing, and business and entrepreneurship.
Visit Trek Bicycles’ Waterloo headquarters and then travel to Madison for a trip to the Capitol, athletic facilities of the UW-Madison campus, the Madison Forward Football Club, a child welfare policy office, and an environmental law office. The day will end with a networking and connection reception for alumni and friends of the College at Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. at 123 E. Doty St. (near the Capitol) from 5-7 p.m.
We will meet at the corner of Clary and Church at 7:30 a.m. and will return to Beloit around 9:15 p.m.
Email Professor Ron Watson, if you would like to join the trip.
