Paul L. Frederick’1918 DSC

You have been a national director of the Mutual Savings Bank Association and head of the Rock County bankers’ chapter.

Banker – Community Leader

A native of Beloit, you have earned great respect and admiration for your dedicated service to both profession and community. Your long association with Beloit Savings Bank, begun in 1919 after your graduation from the College with Phi Bets Kappa honors and Army service abroad, ended only last January, when you retired as chairman of the Board of Corporators. During those 54 years, you served your fellow citizens on the Library and School boards, City Planning Commission, United Givers Fund and World War II home-front organizations. Especially active in the Beloit YMCA, of which you are past president, you chaired its New Building Committee in the ’60s. You also have been a leader in the Rotary, St Paul’s Episcopal Church, various Masonic and veterans’ groups, and the American Automobile Association. President of the Savings Bank for 10 years before your election as chairman in 1971, you have been a national director of the Mutual Savings Bank Association and head of the Rock County bankers’ chapter. Your Alma Mater proudly recognizes your outstanding achievements and distinguished civic service by awarding you this Citation.
