Early Career Report: Sasha Vorlicky’19, Photographer and Filmmaker
As a Beloit College student, Sasha Vorlicky’19 was involved in a variety of photography and filmmaking projects across campus. Today he’s involved in filmmaking and photography in New York City while working for an interior design and architecture firm.
His interest in filmmaking grew during senior year, which culminated in the writing and directing of his short film “The Valley”. Since graduating, Sasha has become an executive assistant to an interior design and architecture firm in New York and is the founder of theCommon.studio, a community that inspires creativity and collaboration between artists. Sasha has been active in filming and photographing events in New York and is currently working on a documentary about the Black Lives Matter movement in the city.
