The mission of the Sophomore-Year Initiatives program is to:
- assist sophomores in making a successful transition from first year to second year
- enhance sophomores’ integration into the community
- provide opportunities for sophomores to
- develop relationships with faculty, staff, and advisors, and peers,
- cultivate student's self-knowledge, and
- make informed and thoughtful decisions about their future, and
- to be aware of and utilize resources for academic and personal planning and growth
- educate faculty, staff, and parents on the unique developmental needs of sophomore students
