The Student Affairs Leadership Team (SALT) Application integrates the job application for Career Advisors, Learning Assistants, Orientation Leaders, and Resident Assistants into one. The goal of the program is to encourage students to explore opportunities to develop their leadership skills through a variety of paraprofessional positions within Student Affairs.

What's a paraprofessional? A paraprofessional is a student employed to assist a professional person for the purpose of providing direct services to other students.

The application does not take long to complete. It consists of personal information as well as questions regarding leadership skills and personal goals. You may apply for as many of these positions as you would like, but you only have to fill out one application! Recommendation requests can be made quickly and easily through the application (though you should still ask for a recommendation in person before filling out that section).

The online form allows you to save your work and finish whenever it is convenient. Once registered, you will be able to return to this page, enter your email address and password, and continue working on your application. However, once you submit your completed application, it will no longer be editable! You will need to call or email the office to which you are applying and request that your application be re-opened.
