Sarah Foster, a student at Beloit College, will offer a senior recital on Tuesday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m., in Eaton Chapel, on the Beloit College campus. The recital is free and open to the public.

Foster has played the French horn for 11 years, studying most recently with Jeff Suarez, an adjunct music instructor at Beloit College. In her four years at the college, she has performed in its orchestra and French Horn ensemble and also with the college band.

The program for Foster’s senior recital is composed of four pieces, including three played with accompaniment by Beloit College music faculty. She will play Krol’s “Laudatio for Solo Horn,” Poulenc’s “Elegie for Horn and Piano” (with piano accompaniment by Renato Premezzi), Mozart’s “Concerto No. 3” featuring movements 2 and 3 for horn and piano (with piano accompaniment by Max Yount), and Dukas’ “Villanelle for Horn and Piano” (with piano accompaniment by Lanette Calhoun).

A resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, Foster is majoring in geology, with a minor in environmental studies.
