A spring choral concert titled "faith, hope, love," will take place on Monday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m., in Eaton Chapel, on the Beloit College campus. The concert is the second of two spring choral concerts.
The Beloit College Chamber Singers will open the program with a performance of Bach’s Cantata 150 “Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich,” accompanied by a chamber ensemble comprised of strings, bassoon and harpsichord. The choir will continue the concert with pieces by Lasso, Hawley and Haydn, as well as a traditional Irish ballad. A collaboration between the choir, professor of dance Chris Johnson and senior dance students to the music of Eric Whitacre will conclude the performance.
The concert is open to the public. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
