Coach Tim Schmiechen has guided the Buccaneers to over 150 victories in his 18 seasons at Beloit, including the 2006 Midwest Conference Championship.
He has led the Bucs to 12 MWC Tournament berths and earned five Midwest Conference Coach of the Year awards, the most recent during the 2006 season, and has coached eight All-Midwest Region players during his tenure with the Buccaneers.
Schmiechen is also the associate athletic director at Beloit College and is the men’s tennis coach.
Schmiechen graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1985 with a degree in physical education. After graduation, he earned his master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Massachusetts. While at Massachusetts, he was the assistant men’s coach for the NCAA Division I soccer program.
