Dave EckburgHead Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach (608) 363-2235 Last Fall, Dave Eckburg finished his 12th season as the head coach of the Buccaneer Men's Cross Country squad and his eighth as the Women’s coach. Under his tenure, the men’s and women’s teams have established themselves as Midwest Conference contenders. In addition to his Cross Country duties, Eckburg also coaches the distance runners for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams. Eckburg is a 1995 graduate of the University of Illinois, where he was a four-year varsity runner, earning several awards. In 1993 he was named the team's MVP and in 1994 he received All-Big Ten honors in cross country while competing for the Illini. He also earned cross country Academic All-American honors from 1990 to 1994. |
