Need Based Finacial Aid
Tuition, room, board, and fees for the 2007-2008 academic year amount to nearly $36,000 per year. However, the majority of families - representing a wide range of income levels - qualify for need-based financial aid. In most cases, state and federal funds will supplement the College's grant or scholarship support; and this combination of awards - called a "financial aid package" - can significantly reduce a family's out-of-pocket expense.

In light of this, when compared with many public institutions, Beloit College becomes an attractive and affordable choice. And when you consider out-of-state tuition charges at public universities, Beloit becomes an even more attractive option.

During the 2007-08 academic year, more than three-quarters of Beloit College students are receiving financial assistance. Most of the financial aid packages combine several kinds of awards, which include gift, loan, and work opportunities.

Students who receive Beloit College need-based financial aid should be aware of the terms and conditions of those awards, and a statement of terms and conditions is mailed with every award.
