First-Year Applicants
We require International students to have completed a competitive secondary school curriculum with above-average performance in all course work, and rank in the top third of the graduating class.
Course work should include at least four years of English literature and composition, and at least three years of foreign language study, three years of mathematics, two years of natural science, and two years of social science.
Students whose first language is not English must take the TOEFL examination or the IELTS. Minimum scores required for admission consideration are: 550 on the paper TOEFL, 213 on the computer TOEFL, an 80 on the iBT, or a 7.0 on the IELTS. Students who are proficient in English should take the SAT Reasoning examination and achieve scores of at least 500 Critical Reading and 500 math.
We require above-average performance on any cumulative examination (G.C.E., I.B., S.P.M., M.C.E., etc.) taken at the end of secondary school years.
Transfer Applicants
We require the final results of any examination required for entry into the university they currently attend, as well as a transcript of all university-level course work. Transfer applicants should also provide a catalog with course descriptions, or syllabi, so that their transfer of credit may be evalauted. Transcripts which are not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
