Beloit College offers three distinct ways to study off-campus for academic credit:
Study Abroad Students in all disciplines have the opportunity for immersion in other cultural and educational environments through study abroad. The Office of International Education promotes programs and activities that provide international educational opportunities on-campus as well as abroad.
Domestic programs Students can supplement and enrich their Beloit education through participation indomesticprograms that include intensive coursework, independent research and scholarship, and work experiences. The Office of International Education provides advising for application to domestic off-campus programs.
Internships and field term experiences Beloit ’s Field and Career Services offers hundreds of field experiences each year. Internships--strongly encouraged at Beloit--may be part-time or full-time, paid or unpaid, and can be completed for credit. “Learning by doing” is a part of the engaged learning stressed at Beloit College.
