Current ExhibitionsIllustrations, Illuminations and the Bound Images This exhibition examines the relationship between text and image. Juxtaposing illustrated texts against graphic novels, this exhibit explores how images work when embedded in a text or bound between two covers. Logan and Wright Education Collections Objects are powerful teaching tools. They aid us in bridging the gap between textbook theory and applied meaning-making. This exhibition presents a selection of objects from the Logan Museum of Anthropology and the Wright Museum of Art available to faculty for hands-on classroom use. South Gallery
Asian Icons In an exhibition that includes over twenty works of sculpture, painting, and textiles from the Wright Museum and Logan Museum’s permanent collections, Asian Icons looks at religious icons. The exhibition explores regional expressions of Buddhist and Hindi faith through its collection that includes Thai, Burmese, Chinese, Japanese and Tibetan works of art. North Gallery
Hollensteiner Gallery: Highlights from the Permanent Collection The main gallery will feature a selection of 30 works from the permanent collection. This exhibit will highlight many of the more significant works including the Wright’s collection of European paintings, American Impressionism, and Modernist works, as well as a selection of Asian and European prints and drawings.
