On campus visits by Beloit Health System

Nursing assessment as well as treatment of health problems and minor injuries. (Walk-ins will be accommodated as schedule permits. Appointments are recommended).

Gynecology/birth control
STD testing
Counseling for health and personal problems
Annual Influenza clinic
Strep screening
Condoms at $0.10 per condom
Medical equipment to loan, i.e., crutches, ice bags, heating pads
Stress reduction
Referrals to specialist and community health services
Light Therapy room

LABORATORY SERVICES
The Beloit Memorial Hospital Laboratory provides laboratory services for our site. A technician comes to campus once a week to do routine lab draws by appointment.  The lab at Beloit Memorial Hospital is available for other lab services.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
The Beloit Memorial Hospital provides a once daily van service to the hospital and to the Beloit Clinic for appointments. This service must be arranged ahead of time through the health center. If students need transportation at other times there are city taxis and bus routes that will take students to appointments.

LIGHT THERAPY ROOM
The health center provides a light therapy room for students suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder. Appointments  are available to reserve the room but not necessary. If you would like to make an appointment, these are arranged with the scheduling desk in the health center.

COUNSELORS
We have mental health counselors in our center Monday through Friday during the academic year. Appointments are made by calling the health center at 608-363-2331. 

BILLING
There is no charge to see the R.N. in the health center but visits to the M.D. or N. P. will be billed to the students insurance policy.
