The services of the on-campus counseling center are free to current Beloit College students. Students are allowed up to six (6) free sessions per semester. Campus counselors can also refer students to off campus services or students may locate off-campus services on their own. Students are responsible for costs incurred with off campus referral services. Please check your health insurance policy to determine whether costs are covered. The services provided on and off campus are confidential. Your involvement with a counselor or psychiatrist will not be shared unless you provide expressed written consent to inform others or if a mental health crisis emerges.
If you have a personal concern and wish to have some assistance, contact the Counseling Center at 608-363-2643, the Health Center at 608-363-2331 or the Dean of Students Office at 608-363-2661.
