The Americorps*VISTA project at Beloit is designed to build sustainable partnerships between the college and its community. After its inception in 2007, it helped create the Liberal Arts in Practice Center and facilitated service-learning components in courses spanning the academic spectrum. Its work continues to be a foundational piece of Beloit College’s engagement of the greater Beloit community.
