Nearly all Beloit students live on campus. Residence halls are largely self-governing and operate according to community norms. Trained resident assistants are available for counseling and advising, organizing events, and communicating student needs to the Office of Residential Life. Residential options include single-sex halls, coed floors, and theme floors; all halls feature kitchen facilities and common lounge areas. There is also special interest housing for students who wish to live together to achieve a common goal. Fraternities and sororities offer social, educational, and service opportunties and maintain houses on campus.
Student-run committees and organizations are responsible for everything from representing students on curricular committees to programming college-wide cultural events. Follow the list of links to learn more about these dynamic organizations.
