Student Leadership Advisory Board

The Student Leadership Advisory Board (SLAB) is made up of 6-8 program participants. The  SLAB provides an opportunity for student involvement with decisions regarding programming, cultural events, and workshops. Members of the SLAB also advocate on behalf of the program to help with student, campus, and community relations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison and sounding board between SSS students and staff
  • Provide input on the program structure and implantation
  • Coordinate special programming and events
  • Promote SSS to the BC community

  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Vision/strategy
  • Good academic standing (cum GPA 2.5 or better)
