I have enjoyed working for Student Support Services since January 2014.  In August, I became the Program Budget Assistant where my focus will be, but not limited to, working on the budget for the program.

A little bit about me. . . . I have lived in Roscoe, IL for 18 years.  I am originally from the Quad City area.  I have 2 daughters that are in high school and involved with cheerleading.  In my spare time, I enjoy running and biking.  I love to travel, particularly to warm, sunny places.

Camilla Jackson

Office: 608-363-2124

Camilla graduated from Beloit College with a B.A. in Political Science and History in 2014. While at Beloit College, Camilla focused her studies on human rights, conflict resolution, and the history of America’s Indigenous populations in urban centers. The focus of her studies led Camilla to many interdisciplinary opportunities, including studying at the Newberry Library in Chicago and studying in Bosnia Herzegovina, and ultimately led to her position at SSS and her joining of the TRiO family.  More info...

Academic Support Coordinator

Maria Scarpaci

Office: 608-363-2031

Although originally from Wisconsin, I come to Beloit College from Memphis, Tennessee. As a Teach For America corps member, I spent the last four years teaching in an elementary charter school. I truly enjoyed working in the classroom with the children from the North Memphis community, but felt that I could give more towards educational equity in another capacity. As an Academic Support Coordinator with Student Support Services, I will be able to nourish my personal and professional passion for social justice through education. More info...
