SLAs

"Hi, I'm Nick Canby. My focus in the SLP is promoting mindfulness practices and sitting meditation.  My spiritual path focuses on mysticism, Nick Canbyshamanism, and yoga. In the past I have read about and studied a range of mystical traditions, from Zen to western occultism to indigenous Quechua spirituality and more. If you are interested in discussing any of this, I'd love to talk with you."

jen o.jpg"Hi, I'm Jennifer Olson, class of 2012, a liberal Christian, raised in a variety of denominations. With the SLP I coordinate interfaith service and Place at the Table.  I currently attend River of Life Methodist Church, and am very involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, and Interfaith Club. I am also a Religious Studies major, love talking about spirituality, learning about different religions and practices, and am very interested in issues of interfaith dialogue. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to talk about Christianity at Beloit, spirituality, or anything else"

Mira Treatman"Besides co-leading Live the Questions, I'm developing a small group arts interaction around the themes of social change and apathy. Personally I'm a liberal, spiritually curious person who was raised in a traditional, non-denominational Jewish family. At Beloit my primary spiritual expression is through my studies of theater and dance.
