BELOIT COLLEGE NAMES NEW FACILITIES DIRECTOR

Michael Brady has been named director of the physical plant at Beloit College. He will be responsible for the college’s buildings, grounds, mechanical and utility systems, new construction and remodeling project oversight, and the supervision of personnel in maintenance, grounds and housekeeping. His first day at Beloit College will be June 11.

Brady has extensive experience managing facilities and physical plant services for educational institutions, having held similar positions at Hastings College and Carleton College. His most recent position was with the Bush School, an independent K-12 school in Seattle, Wash. A graduate of Metropolitan State University, Brady holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Nebraska.

Beloit College is private, residential liberal arts college located in the city of Beloit, Wis. Its 75-acre campus contains 77 structures, including 35 academic and administrative buildings, 37 residence halls/special interest houses, nationally recognized anthropology and art museums, a theatre complex, a sports center and a 25-acre athletic and recreational area. The college will open a new, 116,000 square-foot, four-story Center for the Sciences in the fall of 2008.
