Off Campus Study

Approximately one-third of psychology majors study off campus at some point during their four years at Beloit College. Although most students study off campus during their junior year, several students have participated in off-campus programs during their sophomore or senior years, or during the summer.

Most of our majors spend a semester outside of the US, although some have participated in domestic programs.

A description of off-campus study programs that may be of interest to majors, and information about planning for off-campus study can be found on the Office of International Education website.

In many cases, psychology credits earned while studying off-campus will count towards the requirements to complete the major. Students should consult with their adviser prior to choosing which courses to enroll in while off-campus.
