What will we do on campus?
Take a tour: The Office of Admissions will arrange a campus tour led by a current Beloit student. Students will see our facilities, hear an overview of academic programs and campus life, and have a chance to ask the guide what Beloit means to him/her.
Campus tours last about an hour. Please make sure your students wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
Go to an information session: One of our admissions counselors will host an information session tailored to your group. We can tell you about Beloit’s unique curriculum, the admissions process, or how to finance a Beloit education.
Eat lunch: Your students can have lunch in Commons Dining Room. Lunch is available at a reduced cost of $6.30 per person. If you plan to eat in Commons, please let us know well in advance. Payment for lunch via credit card is due the day of your visit. Documentation of tax-exempt status is required to receive this special rate.
If you want to eat off campus, we can direct you to local restaurants. We can also arrange an on-campus place for you to eat your own boxed lunches.
How many students can we bring?
We can accommodate up to 40 people. Groups must provide one adult chaperone for every ten students.
Whom should I plan a group visit for?
Our programming is best suited to high school aged students who are studying a strong college preparatory curriculum. We simply do not have sufficient staffing or activities available for middle and elementary school age children.
How should we prepare for our visit?
Campus tours include a one-hour walking tour of campus. Please ensure that your participants are dressed for seasonal weather, with comfortable footwear for walking.
Traveling to Beloit
When we confirm your visit, we’ll provide information about directions and parking. Please allow ample time to get here. If your group is delayed, we may not be able to reschedule missed activities.
If your schedule or group size changes, please let us know as soon as possible. Also, please provide us with your group leader’s cell phone number so we can reach him/her on your visit day.
