On study abroad: Second semester of my junior year, I was able to study abroad in South Africa. While abroad, I was able to attend cow slaughterings, spend 3 weeks learning at a rural public hospital, learn to surf, attempt to speak Zulu to my host families, and discovered a newfound love of mangos and avocados.
