The Application

When to Apply

Beloit's Admissions Committee begins the review of completed transfer applications on March 15 for fall semester applicants, and on November 1 for spring semester applicants. After the start of our review process, applicants are notified on a rolling basis. While Beloit begins reviewing application files during these time periods, we continue to accept applications throughout the year as space allows.

What We Look For

Admissions decisions for transfer students are made in an effort to find students who appear to be best qualified to benefit from and contribute to Beloit's campus community, both in and out of the classroom, as they are for first-year students. However, the required application components are slightly different.

Required Transfer Application Components:

  1. A completed Common Application for Transfers (including required essay)
  2. Beloit College Common Application Supplement

Transfer students applying online through the Common Application should complete the Beloit College supplement included as part of the online application process. The PDF version posted here is available for students who are using a paper application, or who wish to preview the supplement prior to submitting it online.

  3. $35 Application Fee

The Application Fee can be paid online or by check. Checks should be made payable to Beloit College.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Beloit College enrolls a diverse student body, with students from all socio-economic backgrounds.  Transfer students may apply for need-based financial aid by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the Beloit College Financial Aid form.

Our Trustee Transfer Scholarship will be awarded to high-achieving transfer students.  There is no separate scholarship application; candidates are recommended by the Admissions Committee based on the review of the application.

Financial Aid information for Transfer students is available through the Admissions Office.
