International Transfer Students Application

3. Official Transcripts of Secondary School Course Work*
Transcripts must list all courses taken and the grades received (if applicable), or results of post-secondary cumulative examinations (G.C.E., I.B., S.P.M., M.C.E., etc.)
Transcripts and examinations must be in English and sent directly to Beloit College by the school, examination board, or certified translator.

4. Official Transcripts of University-Level Coursework*
You must send transcripts of any university-level coursework taken and grades received.
Transcripts must be submitted through Common Application or directly to Beloit College by the college or university or certified translator.
So that we can evaluate your transfer credits, you must provide a course catalog (in English) with course descriptions or the syllabi of courses taken. The Registrar will evaluate transfer credit.

5. College Official's Report for Transfer Admission*
A completed College Official's Report for Transfer Admission must be submitted by the appropriate school official. (See "Note" below.)
6. Teacher Letter of Recommendation*
One teacher recommendation is required, preferably by someone who has taught you within the last year. (See "Note" below.)
7. Standardized Examinations
Students whose first language is not English must submit either TOEFL or IELTS results. If a student’s first language is English, or his/her instruction has been in English, s/he may submit scores from the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT.
TOEFL scores must be at least 80 iBT, 550 paper-based. IELTS scores must be at least a 6.5.
8. The College Board CSS Profile
International students applying for financial aid must complete the CSS Profile and identify Beloit College (CSS code 1059) as a recipient of the results. The CSS Profile must be completed and submitted by the application deadline under which you are applying.
Students living in Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, and Sudan should complete the CSS International Student Financial Aid Application in full and mail directly to the admissions office at Beloit College.
