Reason Resources

Reason is an open-source, collaborative content management system that allows individuals from all departments on campus to easily manage minisites on beloit.edu. It was developed by Carleton College and has been in use at Beloit since 2009.

Below is some instructional material for your reference:

Reason training is required for all Reason users and is provided in the Bibliographic Instruction Room located in the lower level of the library on alternating second Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and second Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Unless otherwise noted.)  To sign up for the upcoming session, please complete this form.  Below is our schedule for the 2012-2013 academic year:

Wednesday, October 24, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (4th Wednesday of the month)
Thursday, November 8, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, February 13, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, March 14, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 10, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

June 5, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Individual training may also be arranged as necessary. Please contact us if you are unable to attend a Reason training session and we will arrange a time for one on one training.
