    Beloit College was under a precautionary lockdown on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 12:30-3:13 p.m. after learning of a situation underway at an apartment building near campus. Shortly after the “all clear” was sounded, Dean of Students Christina Klawitter distributed an email message to all students, faculty, and staff describing the situation and explaining the college’s response.
