Panelists participating in Wednesday’s (Feb. 26) “Incarceration Epidemic: Crisis in Wisconsin” event were interviewed on WCLO’s Your Talk Show and in the Beloit Daily News to preview the discussion points.

Topics panelists talked about included the importance of employing alternative methods for dealing with non-violent criminals, the necessity of investing in our youth and the need for programs that will help inhibit repeat offenders.

“It’s going to be good for the community to start this conversation because that’s the first step in addressing the problem,” Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden told Your Talk Show host Tim Bremel.
