Jordan Wilson (2012), Voice

Jordan Wilson, a North Carolina native, recently began his doctoral studies in Vocal Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Minor in Linguistics. Before coming to Madison, Jordan lived in Rochester, NY, where after completing his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Eastman, he worked as an adjunct professor of Voice at Roberts Wesleyan College and the Eastman Community Music School.
Jordan has performed major roles in Ariadne auf Naxos, Pelléas et Mélisande, For a Look or a Touch, This is the rill speaking, Marriage of Figaro, Secret Garden, and A Little Night Music, being comfortable both in operatic as well as musical theatre roles. As an avid recitalist, Jordan won first place at Eastman's Kneisel Competition for German Lieder, allowing him to perform the closing concert for the Academic year in May of 2010.
Currently, Jordan teaches applied voice at Beloit College, teaches privately in Madison, and is a section leader at Grace Episcopal Church in downtown Madison.
