Dan Roberdeau is the principal clarinetist in the Kenosha and Racine symphonies. He has been with the Wisconsin Wind Orchestra for the last four years. He also appears with the Festival City Symphony, Bel Canto Chamber Orchestra, Green Bay Symphony, and as a substitute clarinetist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Before moving to the Milwaukee area in 1994, Dan was principal clarinetist with the Canton and Akron symphonies in Ohio, and extra clarinetist with The Cleveland Orchestra. Prior to that, he was principal clarinetist with the North Carolina Symphony.
Dan has a large private teaching studio, and teaches at Carroll College, Concordia University, Beloit College and Alverno College. He studied with Robert Marcellus in Cleveland, and Jerome Stowell at Northwestern University.
