From Beloit you can see the world—that can mean more than one thing. While, yes, many of the college’s students study abroad, you also can wander through the halls of a dorm and hear a patchwork of languages, from Arabic to French to Cantonese, right here on campus. It’s not surprising when you consider that Beloiters hail from more than 34 countries and that the college is home to one of the country’s premiere summer language programs.
[Paul Simon Award]Here, we view international education as a two-way street, and that dedication earned the college a nod from NAFSA, who recently recognized the college with the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Campus Internationalization. Our unique Cities in Transition program gives students the tools to critically engage their host cities in China, Ecuador, Senegal, Nicaragua, and Russia. At Beloit, global awareness permeates every aspect of our lives, from the classroom to the cafeteria.
And so the international becomes personal, through a semester overseas. Learn more about Beloit College by visiting the Admissions Web pages, where you can Apply, view Fast Facts, read what students say about the college (and their classmates), or schedule a visit.
