Heralded as one of the Colleges That Change Lives by the late author and former New York Times education editor Loren Pope, Beloit routinely appears on lists celebrating stellar teaching. Beloit placed 6th on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best undergraduate teaching among national liberal arts colleges and 17th on The Princeton Review’s national list of the “best classroom experience.”

Beloit has been committed to curricular innovation since its founding in 1846, and the college is home to one of the oldest chapters of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s most prestigious honor society.
